When Accuracy Costs Influence

Being correct is not the same as being trusted.

When Accuracy Costs Influence

There is a leadership trap many high performers fall into: believing that being right is enough.

In technical professions, accuracy is rewarded early. But in multicultural environments, accuracy without emotional awareness can land as blunt force.

What is happening underneath

This is the technically capable, socially disconnected pattern. You correct quickly. You focus on facts. And people begin to experience you as abrupt or indifferent.

The growth path is not more information. It is more presence. Slow your correction with reflective dialogue. Prioritise connection, not just correction.

Because when people feel seen, they listen. When they feel dismissed, they resist.
